ALBA
Inspired by the Art Deco movement and traditional Asian patterns, I have created a design that embodies the sculptural aspect of both, as a shelf that can be placed on the floor or wall or as a side table.
Inspiration
Art deco is characterized by sleek geometric or stylized forms meanwhile Korean Traditional Patterns can be shown as incantation patterns depended on realistic wish about the ideal life. Alba being made in the middle of a pandemic, I created my own motif of sun rays to depict my wishful thinking of bring a little bit of sunshine into people's lives with my design.
